The Crystal Palace Open House is back for its 2nd year!

Sat / Sun 29th Feb & 1st March - Sat / Sun 7th & 8th March

You will have an absolute treat wandering through Victorian houses and courtyard ateliers, visiting the eclectic mix of talented artists and designers in SE19, as they open their own homes and studios for you to see and buy their work.

Here at The Paxton Centre we are hosting a wealth of talented artists and makers..

* Caron Clarke (BA Hons) is an artist and illustrator focusing on urban landscapes, figurative portraits and life drawings. She works primarily in watercolours and occasionally in oils. Currently experimenting with collage and mixed media.

* Unusual Girl creates resin art like you’ve never seen before, playing with colour and depth in unexpected ways. Her quest to mimic patterns of the natural world in resin sees her create striking otherworldly landscapes.

* Tom Harding. Tom Harding
Predominantly drawing based artist working in a variety of ink based mediums and process' to achieve the weird and wonderful in his work.

* Janette Gaithwaite uses the magical quality of glass to play with colour and pattern creating beautiful and unique pieces that are both useful and decorative, for sale in retail galleries, at select events and individual commission.

* Ralphie and Ted. Handmade exclusive home furnishings using top quality fabrics. Handmade ladies and children’s wear, again, using top quality and unusual fabrics. Upcycled and customised denim jackets.

* Dawn Codex. A dystopian – utopian commentary on ideas of a lost feminine, drawing on the rituals of ancient womanhood and exploring ideas of a futuristic feminine identity birthed in an age of political and social uncertainty.

* Dastan Satoshi . An organic materials based mixed media approach to exploring the feminine in today’s societies from the collaborative experiences of a young Black British Woman (Tianna Beharry), and a Brown British Trans Mans perspective (Dastan Satoshi).

These and our usual abundance of artwork to view and buy at our Creatives Arts Centre. Plus find out more about our events, creative courses and workshops.

The café and bar will be open throughout the weekends with delicious cake, lunch, coffee, teas, wine, beer and so much more!
