Introduction to Pottery

This course is designed to give beginners a rounded experience of pottery and the several techniques we use to create ceramic pieces. Over 6 weeks you will learn how to make a set of tiles, lidded box, a bowl, a vase or jug, pinch pots and more. You will also be given a wheel throwing lesson within the course. There are many glazing options, equipment and resources available to you to create beautiful ceramic pieces.

* note if you miss a class it can be made up on a Tuesday during the course .

* Should this course be postponed due to Covid19 it will be rescheduled and we will run it on an alternative start date.

* The Paxton Centre is Covid Secure with fresh air flow and ventilation, several sanitizing stations, social distancing measures in place and regular cleaning routines.

The course fee is £175 for 15 hrs qualified tuition with all materials and firing included. You can secure your place with a non returnable £25 deposit then 2 further payments of £75 in week 1 and 3.
