Johnny Kemp -
Jonny explored the importance of community through his ‘South Drawood’ exhibition, celebrating the people of his local area. His future project is to portray commuters asleep on their way to work. Alike to great literature, he thinks we should be able to see ourselves in painting and drawing. We might not like what we see, but it should be recognisable. In this way, it should bring people together: communities, dispossessed individuals and groups.

Conceptual images made with no reference to anything - straight from the imagination!
Sophie Davies -
Sophie began painting during a creative lull after being inspired by the works of Vanessa Bell and the Bloomsbury Group, and a trip to the Matisse museum in Nice.
In her most recent portrait series, I have used the bright colours of Charleston House and the Mediterranean to shine a light on artists who inspire me, many of whom are local to South London.
She is also a filmmaker and photographer and painting allows me to study people and experiment with colours I love.
Anouska Cole -
Anoushka is an artist and maker specialising in materials, pattern and shape. She splits her studio time between material research focused projects, running material workshops and developing her skills as a printmaker and painter.
Keeping her hands constantly busy she is also ever searching for pattern, translating the shapes of the world into prints, paintings and 3d objects.
She bases her practice from her studio in South London, often exhibiting and selling her work locally.
Katy Edelsten -
loves making things. She is a London based artist and illustrator who also works in advertising. Her bright and bold images will brighten up any space.
Jack McKeown -
Jack is a Forest Hill based artist producing warped and colourful scenes. The subject is typically candid domestic or street scenes. Thrown through a lens of child like bold lines, mis matched colours and distorted dimensions. The aim is to create a world where as things move into focus they become sharper and more technicolour. And when they move out of focus become more warped and cartoonish.
