Bromley Arts Society Exhibition Launch Night

We are so happy to welcome the Bromley Arts Society for a group Exhibition in the gallery for the month of October. This show brings together 23 Artists from Bromley Art Society who are working in a variety of styles and media.

The society brings together people interested in doing Art – whatever level they are at - and we range from beginners to self taught amateurs to professional Artists. Members come from across South East London and beyond .  We aim to be  Grayson Perry’s Art Club more than the Summer Exhibition

In addition to exhibitions, we have a variety of activities taking place including, monthly Art demonstration nights, themed zoom meetings and weekly untutored Daytime Art Sessions.

You can find out more about us at www.bromleyartsociety.org.uk and @bromleyartsociety on Instagram

Artists featured in the header image include

Emily Brand

I am primarily a painter, focusing on colour. I use mainly oil and acrylic paints in my works, but a few years ago I began to explore Dry-Monoprinting to produce black and white images of local stations and landmarks. I work from photographs that I take, often taken in the local area – South East London. https://emilybrandart.co.uk/

Colin Barnett

I use many different types of mediums, such as graphite pencil, various grades of vine and compressed charcoal sticks and charcoal pencils, acrylic, soft and water soluble pastels, plus watercolour pans and tubes. I believe that working in an any single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual and unique style, especially when doing mixed media projects.https://colinbarnettartist.com/

Aferdita Fazliu

Aferdita Fazliu-Drozd is an artist who creates textured paintings using plaster, fabric, and powertext. Her work transforms walls into galleries of sculptural pieces. Nature, with its flowers, seas, and mountains, is her muse.

Aferdita's art is a language of emotions. It goes beyond visuals, aiming to touch your soul. Through texture, she invites you to not only see but also feel. Aferdita seeks to bridge the gap between human emotions and the natural world, offering inspiration and wonder through each piece. @aferdita_fazliu_drozd
