Edy Mpisaunga - illustrations, mixed media collages, murals and figurative paintings.

@Edyartist

Edy is a Zimbabwean artist living and working in London. Edy`s paintings, biro illustrations and collages potray
humanoid forms with both earthly and otherworldly resonance. Edy specialises in paintings on reclaimed wood.
His acrylic portraits are dynamic pieces that evolve organically from biro illustrations. As well as being prerequisite to
his paintings, these illustrations also are also complete stand alone pieces. Edy`s collages are social commentaries
that explore connectedness and discord. His murals are representations of the natural world and are vibrant counterpoint to his more introspective works. Edy has exhibited in both solo and group exhibits.

Miriam Tilson - Surrealist Painter

@myriamtillson

Myriam is a figurative surrealist. She works traditionally on paper using a mix of wet and dry mediums, such as watercolour, gouache, ink, acrylic, coloured pencils and graphite. Myriam is a French illustrator and fine artist based in London.

After working in the film industry for several years, she turned to art as a full-time practice in 2018. Her illustrative style is inspired by the aesthetics of classic French and Belgian bandes dessinees, pre-Raphaelite paintings and contemporary Magical Realism. Her absurdist and surrealist pieces' main motifs are the human body and the natural world, often combined, manipulated and modified to play with their metaphorical, narrative and symbolic characteristics

Matthew Hoare -  abstract artist/photographer

@matthew.hoare

In this collection of people bathed in bright sunlight, candid moments of leisure unfold. There’s something powerful about those unguarded moments: body language, fleeting expressions, subtle interactions that often vanish the moment someone senses the camera. Most people are surprisingly open to my presence. I try to catch a raw honesty, but with strangers, especially in vulnerable settings like sunbathing, the line between observation and intrusion can blur. Building a quick rapport helps. It gives way to the quiet rituals of sun worship: the stretch of a limb, the tilt of a head, the ease of a body at rest. Each vivid, unguarded frame becomes a tribute to a national pastime of gravitating to the coast for sun, sand, and a glimpse of that endless blue horizon.

Suzanna North - contemporary and abstract artist

@4rtby_suzanne

I am a multi-style artist who creates art in a variety of different artistic styles in the medium of acrylic. This involves working across different genres and techniques and a wide range of creative possibilities. As figurative artist I focus on portraits and landscapes, and allow for a unique artistic interpretation and style.  My portraits are of emotive faces rather than real people depicting strong feelings deriving from circumstances, mood and emotions.  They are somewhat primitive in style and often unrefined aesthetics. I also practise the abstract style.  In my pursuit of creating abstract art, I aim to capture the essence of the these through the use of vibrant colours in acrylic and ink blocks lines and creating forms and gestural marks with stencils, printing and sgraffito, and strive to create a visual interpretation which resonates with people

Philip Hewson - Painter

@studio.8.a

“I am a painter working mostly in oil (or combined acrylic with oil) A maker and painter exploring and reinterpreting the portrayal of masculinity from Art History and as told in the myths and stories that we tell ourselves. My work takes in characters and tales from Greek, Mesopotamian, and related myth cycles and how they are used to reinforce or disrupt ideas of expectations and role of the male in society and the world. My work is figurative, with the nude male form as its essential and timeless centre.”
