At this workshop you will be taught simple relief sculpting and casting techniques to create unique decorations, or mini tiles to take home. Lovely to give as gifts or to decorate your home.

You will be helped to create designs, with image reference provided if required. You will then be introduced to relief sculpting techniques and shown how to make simple moulds and casts in Jesmonite, a hardwearing acrylic plaster.

All tools and materials will be provided. but bring an apron or old clothing if you have one.

This session is open to all, from absolute beginners to more experienced makers from age 16 upwards.

Dot Young, your tutor, has worked extensively as a sculptor in the UK and Internationally, and will look forward to welcoming you on the day.
